Identical or fraternal?
Real identical twins come from one embryo splitting, so they share nearly all their DNA. Fraternal twins are two separate embryos, genetically as similar as regular siblings. OurBaby's twins lean fraternal: clearly related, subtly different, the way most real twins look in photos.
Fun fact: fraternal twinning runs in families through the mother's side, and the natural odds of twins are around 3 percent per pregnancy.
How to get the best twin photos
Use a clear, front-facing photo of each parent in good light. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, and group shots. The better the AI can read each face, the stronger the family resemblance in your twins.

Is there an app that shows what your twins would look like?+
Yes. OurBaby has a dedicated twins mode: upload one photo of each parent and the AI generates future twins. It's currently the only baby generator app with this feature.
Can AI predict if I'll actually have twins?+
No. AI baby generators are for fun and visualization, they can't predict a real pregnancy outcome. Twinning depends on biology (and a bit of family history on the mother's side), not on photos.
